DrLayher

Dr. Layher received her undergraduate education at Boise State University graduating Magna Cum Laude. Upon entering medical school at Touro University in Nevada, she commissioned as an officer in the United States Army. After graduating medical school with Sigma Sigma Phi Honors, her first military assignment was at Madigan Army Medical Center where she fulfilled her internship training. She then completed Dermatology residency training through San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. Following residency, she served as the Chief of Dermatology at West Point, while also completing a Master of Business Administration degree from Boise State University. After finishing her military service, she completed fellowship training in micrographic surgery and dermatologic oncology, commonly called Mohs surgery, at Texas Tech University.

Outside of Dermatology, Dr. Layher enjoys spending time with her husband, her dog, and the rest of her family who also call the Treasure Valley home. She has been skiing her entire life and believes the best mountains are right here in Idaho. She also enjoys riding motorcycles, going biking around town, and reading.

Although her training has taken her to many places across the country, Idaho has always been her one true home and she wholeheartedly looks forward to caring for you one skin cell at a time.
