Alma Hybrid Laser

The Alma Hybrid combines 2 lasers in one, CO2 and 1570nm wavelength, providing both ablative and non-ablative wavelengths through randomized delivery to ensure the best coverage in less time. By having multiple lasers in one, the treatment is fully customizable to the patient’s specific needs leading to better results in fewer treatments.
Compared to other resurfacing lasers, Hybrid is faster, giving unmatched results in generally under 30 minutes. The treatment is less painful than other lasers, and downtime is 50% less than other resurfacing procedures, with a majority of the recovery in the first 4 days.

Important Pre- and Post-treatment Things to Know
It is highly recommended to avoid tanning and sun exposure for 3-4 weeks before and after each treatment as this can impact the overall outcome. Unfortunately, we cannot treat tanned skin as the laser targets the skin differently which can lead to unfavorable results. Wearing daily moisturizer with sunscreen containing zinc or titanium and an SPF of at least 35 before and after the procedure is highly encouraged. It is also recommended to discontinue exfoliating products like Tretinoin (Retin A) 1 week before and after treatment to ensure your skin is not too sensitive for the procedure.
