What is Laser Coring?
It is the first-of-its-kind laser that burns out larger columns of skin that leads to even contraction in all vectors of the skin. It is optimal for treating deeper wrinkles on the face and neck. Laser coring is immediately followed by gentle UltraClear resurfacing which results in a compounding effect of tissue coring and laser rejuvenation resulting in fast collagen contraction and remarkable cosmetic outcomes.
Important Pre- and Post-treatment Things to Know
It is strongly required to avoid tanning and sun exposure for 2-4 weeks before and after each treatment as this can impact the overall outcome, including hyperpigmentation. Unfortunately, we cannot treat tanned skin as the laser targets the skin differently which can lead to unfavorable results. Wearing daily moisturizer with sunscreen containing zinc or titanium and an SPF of at least 35 before and after the procedure is highly encouraged. It is also recommended to discontinue exfoliating products like Tretinoin (Retin A) 1 week before and after treatment to ensure your skin is not too sensitive for the procedure.
